While music education is disappearing from schools across the nation, Zeta provides music as a subject during the school day.
At Zeta, we are music lovers.
Zeta is deeply committed to music education for children starting at a young age because music is essential to whole-child development. Students displaying particular musical aptitude or interest have the opportunity to join Zeta’s after-school Violin, Viola, Cello, and Choir Clubs.
Professional NYC violinists, violists, and cellists give private and group lessons to Zeta Club students once per week at school. Group lessons focus on music theory and playing music together. Zeta instrumentalists commit to practicing every day to maximize learning, and showcase their progress at winter and spring performances. We offer scholarships for students to attend summer Suzuki music camps.

Build one music room and 3 semi-soundproofed music practice rooms at a Zeta school, creating space for Zeta musicians to receive lessons and to practice, and for Zeta chamber groups to play together.

Build and supply an entire music room at a Zeta school, laying the foundation for the orchestras, bands, and choirs that will fill its 4 walls with music for years to come. A special plaque recognizing your gift will be placed in the music room or school building.
